Chicago Restaurants and Views

I am very blessed to have quite a few friends who live in Chicago and have been able to show my some of the best food, views, places to hang and bloody mary bars in this country. Here are just a few of my must stop by restaurants, bars, and views in the city.

RPM Italian-

EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to Chicago I eat here. I would eat here every day if I could. This is the best Italian I have found in the US. It is run by Bill and Giuliana Rancic, who I have seen dine here on more than one occasion. It is a beautiful white tux waiter, fancy chandelier, classy decor, gorgeous restaurant. You must get the garlic bread, with whatever you order, I promise you will not regret it. I always get the house-made carbonara and the Imported Burrata. Make sure to make reservations!

Sunda-

I am pretty picky with sushi. Coming from a landlocked state, we don't get the best or freshest fish, so when I get to Chicago, I always come here. It is trendy, classy, usually on a wait (make reservations), and you never know who will pop in to eat dinner there. The rolls are so delicious. Try the spicy Edamame and the crispy Brussel sprouts to start.

Bub City-

After your night out when you are hungover and need some grease and a good Bloody Mary, head to Bub City. It is a country restaurant/bar at night and home of the best bloody mary bar I have ever seen by day. They are always rocking the country music and have a great little patio to sit on.

Summer House-

This restaurant feels like the ocean and the west coast. It is beautiful with whitewashed walls, blue tones, beach decor and has excellent food and is famous for its desserts.

Hoxton rooftop-

If you want some of the best views of the city, the rooftop of the Hoxton is beautiful and a great place for happy hour or a nightcap. We ate there, and I have to say I wasn't impressed with the food or the service. Definitely worth going to for the views though!

Bar Siena-

This bar and restaurant is located in the West Loop on a row of restaurants and bars that is super trendy and fun. The food and drinks I had were amazing, and the atmosphere is fun. Every time I passed this place was packed. All of the Italian dishes are house-made.

Giordano’s-

Wherever you go you won’t be disappointed in Chicago. Let me know what I missing.
