Top 5 things to do in Nashville

Pedal Tavern

I know this is a total cliche Nashville thing to do, but the reason that it is so popular is that it really is that fun! I have done Pedal Tavern's with Bachelorette parties, 21st birthdays and corporate events and it is always a blast. You really can't go wrong with a few hours of biking around town on a tavern built for 15 and enjoying the music, scenery, and libations. I have always used Nashville Pedal Tavern https://www.nashvillepedaltavern.com They require at least 8 and up to 15, or you can hop on a bike with soon to be friends if you don't have enough people. You can rent multiple bikes if you have a large group. It is BYOB including water, but they provide the coolers and ice. You can pick lower Broadway or Midtown routes which stops at two-three bars. The whole event is a bonding experience...team building Nashville style. It really is hard not to have fun!

Rooftop Bars

One thing Nashville is not short on is bars. The hard part is deciding on which one. In almost all of them come amazing talented musicians. A fun way to waste an afternoon is hopping from bar to bar on Broadway. Some of my favorites are Nashville Underground, The Stage, Honkey Tonk Central, and Tootsies. The nicer newer bars seem to come with names you would recognize, Jason Aldean's, Whiskey Row, Luke Bryans, FGL house...

For a more authentic Nashville experience try The Stage, Tootsies or Honkey Tonk Central.

Bluebird Cafe

Scoring tickets to this place is hard. You want to plan and have as many people as possible trying to help you get tickets. Make sure you are on right away when they go on sale.

The place where Taylor Swift and Garth Brooks were given recording contracts may not look like much from the outside, but when the songwriters come on it is pure magic. It is not a concert, but more of a tell-all, where the songwriters tell the stories about the songs that they wrote and how they wrote them.

They are cheap tickets, ten dollars minimum food and drink with no cover charge.

What would a trip to Nashville be without stopping at the Angel Wings, or the "I love Nashville" sign? It is almost a right of passage for the first time Nashville virgins. The Angel wings are in the Gulch, and two of the other favorite ones are in 12th Avenue South, one by Reece Witherspoon's store, Draper James, and one behind the Frothy Monkey. There are many more scattered throughout town, which makes finding your perfect Insta poses easy.

Shopping

I think if you go to Nashville, you need a new pair of boots! These can range from the very expensive...Luchese and Frye boots in the Gulch, to the deals on Broadway, where you can get three pairs for the price of two. Boot shopping is fun, but if you want trendy clothes you can try 12th Avenue South or the Germantown neighborhood. If you are in need of something particular, Nashville has a great (though ordinary) mall in Green Hills, about 15 minutes outside of downtown that has everything a girl could need.
