You never know who you will see at the Thompson

You know when you see multiple celebrities within a few days at the same hotel, you have found a hip place to stay. The past five nights I have been blown away by the Thompson. The rooms are Country Chic, hardwood floors, floor to ceiling windows, and come with a Marshall speaker to get ready for a night on the town.

I brought a group of 30 here this week for a conference and was blown away by everything from the service to the meeting rooms to the cool and trendy rooftop bar and fantastic coffee shop downstairs.

The only downsides to this hotel that I can find are there is no pool and no spa. There is a beautiful spa less than a mile away called Rhapsody spa though if you are interested in spending a day relaxing. It is located about a mile from Broadway in a chic neighborhood called the Gulch.

One of my favorite places to hang out is the rooftop bar, LA Jackson. You really never know who you will run into when you are having a drink. This trip I was blown away to see Kenny Chesney having a Bud Light at one of the patio tables.

The next day I stepped into the elevator to see Gwen Stafani and Blake Shelton, and my friends saw Drake this week here as well. I am already planning a trip back!
